    HVAC was running a little loud. Could have been anything. Could have been something expensive. When Swanton's Alex came by my house, he inspected (at a special discounted rate) all units and explained that older units simply make more noise. No fugazy repair quotes to fix a non-existent problem. Alex just told me I'm good to go and not to sweat the noise unless I feel like upgrading. Great service. Quality operation.

    We used Swanton because the prior homeowner used them. Brian came out and did maintenance on our boiler… he has been maintaining the boiler for some time. We just bought the house, and I’ve never had a boiler before. Brian was gracious enough to walk me through the boiler maintenance and showed me all the different components and how they worked. He indicated, due to the recent upgrades he made under the prior owners, the boiler is in great shape. We are very happy with Swanton’s skilled service people and their pricing… very affordable!     Swanton is great! Our furnace went out late Saturday night; it was 55 degrees in our house. I called them Sunday a.m., and they came right over to take a look and thankfully were able to get it running (for now). Looks like we need a new furnace. Brian came out on Tuesday as a follow-up to make sure the furnace was functioning safely. We still need a new one, though. Swanton is great if you are looking for a heating and cooling company.     Our 20-year-old system failed. We wanted to repair it if it was a minor fix. The technician explained the windings in the compressor were decayed. The fan was also no good. He explained that you can start replacing parts at considerable cost, but basically the unit has run its course. We are waiting for an estimate for a new installation.     Swanton Energy Services just installed four mini-split units (heat pumps) in my house and an outside condenser to provide heating and AC. I can't say enough good things about the team that installed the system: they were extremely neat and careful while working in my house, were experienced and meticulous in their work, were kind and respectful to each other and to me, and were fun to have around. They patiently explained everything I need to know about taking care of the system and how to work the remote control, and actually swept up (the tiniest bits of) dirt from my outside patio before they left! They all seemed to enjoy their work, working with each other, and interacting with customers. The work on the back outside wall of the house was so neat and carefully done, you can barely notice it. They did a fantastic job, and went the extra mile to meet my needs and answer my questions. Couldn't have been better.

Their workmanship was great, and all three of the guys on the team were wonderful. Tommy, in particular, was so kind to our dog and looked forward to seeing her on his visits! They showed up on time and worked hard every time they were here. They have installed two systems for us and done several repairs/maintenance on our boilers as well (which were installed by previous owners). We have three air conditioners and two boilers, so they have done a good deal of work for us. I highly recommend them!
