Fortunately, Swanton Energy Services offers our customers comprehensive Comfort Shield Service Plans!
By signing up for our plans, our team of professionals will meticulously inspect, clean, and ensure the seamless operation of your heating and cooling equipment, including furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and more.

It's important to note that loyalty credits are available for clients with continuous coverage. The service plan must be active and in good standing at the time of replacement and must be for consecutive years. Swanton Energy Services must install the new system. Major component types include gas furnaces, condensers, air handlers, and gas boilers. There's a $ 500 cap on the credits.
Choose the Right HVAC Maintenance Plan for You
The first step is picking the right maintenance plan that suits your needs. You can choose to cover your air conditioner, heating system, or both. We offer a multi-system discount of 10% off to encourage you to protect all your equipment.
PLATINUM
This plan offers tier 1 parts and labor protection, in addition to maintenance for heat pumps, gas furnaces, central air conditioners, and ductless mini-split systems.
When you sign up, you'll get:
- One annual tune-up/cleaning
- Labor is 100% covered up to two hours on repairs*
- No diagnostic fees ever!
- Parts covered up to $200 allowance**
- No charge for over 95% of all repairs
- $25 credit per year toward major component replacement
*Repairs beyond two hours will incur a $250/hour rate. Repairs to be made during normal business hours: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
**For parts costs that are more than the allowance, the client is responsible for paying the balance.
GOLD
This plan offers tier 2 parts and labor protection, in addition to maintenance for heat pumps, gas furnaces, central air conditioners, and ductless mini-split systems.
When you sign up, you'll get:
- One annual tune-up/cleaning
- Labor is 100% covered up to one hour*
- No diagnostic fees during business hours**
- Parts covered up to $100 allowance***
- No charge for over 80% of all repairs
- $25 credit per year toward major component replacement
*Repairs beyond one hour will incur a $250/hour rate. Repairs to be made during normal business hours: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
**$69 diagnostic fee applies after normal business hours.

SILVER
This plan offers discounts and annual maintenance for heat pumps, gas furnaces, central air conditioners, and ductless mini-split systems.
When you sign up, you'll get:
- Preferred member status
- One annual system tune-up/cleaning
- No diagnostic fee during business hours*
- 15% discount on repairs**
- $25 credit per year toward major component replacement
*$69 diagnostic fee applies after normal business hours.
**Repairs to be made during normal business hours: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
OIL
This plan features a 12-month deluxe oil burner service, which includes burner parts coverage and annual maintenance for oil systems.
When you sign up, you'll get:
- Parts ($100 allowance) & labor for repairs related to the oil burner are covered during normal business hours*
- 20% discount on non-oil burner-related repairs*
- $25 credit per year toward major component replacement
- One annual tune-up/cleaning, which includes:
- Boiler and furnace flue cleaning
- Smoke pipe cleaning
- Function and adjustment of limit controls
- Replacement of nozzle(s)
- Checking the proper temperature setting for fan control
- Water level tube cleaning
- Checking lockout safety control
- Checking proper water pressure
- Line filter cartridge replacement
- Cleaning of the boiler section or furnace clean-out ports
*Repairs to be made during normal business hours: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Customer to pay the difference for oil burner parts over $100.
**For after-hours repairs for current enrolled service plan customers: Oil burner parts are covered up to a $100 allowance. Labor is charged at the standard rate. No overtime rates apply.
Comfort Shield Service Plan Rules & Restrictions
- Platinum, Gold, and Silver plans are for natural gas heating, heat pump, or cooling systems. Sales tax applies to cooling plans only.
- Prices exclude sales tax. Sales tax will be applied to air conditioning plans. For monthly payment options, the first month’s payment will include sales tax for one contract year. Sales tax is nonrefundable.
- Swanton Energy Services reserves the right to inspect systems prior to enrolling in the plans. Systems with defects must first be repaired and restored to full function before enrolling in plan. Swanton Energy Services reserves the right to replace parts with pre-owned parts, refurbished, or equivalent as necessary. Must have purchased at least one heating and one cooling plan.
- Customers who are not on an automatic oil delivery plan with J. Swanton Fuel Co. Inc. are responsible for maintaining the proper oil level in the tank. If there is a runout, the customer agrees to pay the service call fee for a technician to restart the system: prime and start (no parts and clean system) is $135. If additional parts or time are needed because of sludge or dirty tank conditions, additional fees will apply over the $135.
